Case-hardened to 60 HRC then ground back to a 0.4 µm flank, 115 s per cycle — the longest machining dwell in the hall, and the last chance to fix a tooth profile.

Unit of production = the reducer (serials GBX-). Line served by AGV-F (gear blanks, pinion shafts, differential kits, taper bearings, park-lock modules, housings, reducer oil).
Good units palletize at G120 onto PAL3- transfer pallets (×4); AGV-F hauls them to the lineside stock beside A042 (the marriage buffer: target 6–16 units, pulled one PAL3- at a time when it drops below 6 + one pallet) — one GBX- married per e-axle; shipping pallets (PALGBX-) only fill on overflow.
